Raymond Francis Trail, an industrial electrician in the steel mill industry, established Trail Electrical Services in 1965.

In 1983, the second generation of the Trail family joined the business when Raymond's son, Mark Trail, came aboard. Mark has led the company as President since 2000, carrying on the same commitment to quality and service the business was built on.
